Our Story

Nicolas Fidala et Sandrine Mercier se sont rencontrés sur une production hollywoodienne, après avoir chacun construit une longue carrière dans le domaine des effets visuels. Animés par une même vision du cinéma, ils fondent Plan D Entertainment avec l’ambition de développer un cinéma d’auteur réaliste, humain et visuellement exigeant.

Après plusieurs courts-métrages et des années consacrées à l’écriture et au développement de scénarios, Nicolas Fidala réalise son premier long-métrage, Une simple vie. Inspiré d’une histoire vraie, le film est actuellement en postproduction et sa sortie est prévue en 2027.

Plan D Entertainment développe déjà son prochain long-métrage, inspiré d’une légende urbaine. Sa mise en production est prévue pour 2028, poursuivant ainsi la volonté de la compagnie de créer des œuvres originales, profondément ancrées dans le réel et porteuses d’une identité cinématographique forte.

Nicolas Fidala and Sandrine Mercier first met while working on a Hollywood production, after both had already built extensive careers in visual effects. Beyond their technical background, they discovered a shared vision of cinema: grounded, human stories shaped by a strong auteur voice.
Following several short films and years devoted to screenwriting and project development, Nicolas Fidala completed his first feature film, Une simple vie. Inspired by true events, the film is currently in post-production and is scheduled for release in 2027.
Plan D Entertainment is already developing its second feature, a film inspired by an urban legend and planned to enter production in 2028. Through these projects, the company continues to build a distinctive body of work rooted in realism, atmosphere, and bold cinematic storytelling.
